Saturday brings our annual Blessing of the Animals, coordinated and organized by Julie Cedrone and Pilgrim Church. Music, prayer and fun-bring your pets to blessed in tradition and Grace. Saturday, Oct 8th at 11am.
Harvest Fest 2016
Our Second Annual Harvest Fest is happening Sunday October 9th from 10am-4pm (happy thoughts to keep hurricane Matthew rounding out to sea and not continuing up the coast!!!!) We are looking forward to a fun-filled day of pumpkin carving, demos, donut eating contests, games, the HAY MAZE, gorgeous scenery, food and more.Trustees Member: $5/individual, $15/family Nonmember: $10/individual, $25/family (not a member? You can join right at the festival!!!!! and gain access to all of our great events across our 116 properties in Massachusetts).
ENTER OUR PIE BAKING CONTEST!!!!!!!!
- 1pm Skyrise Theatre will be performing their play 'Moon Cheese' and their Improv Troupe will also perform
- 2pm Dave Garden
- 3pm Ben Keyes
Demos, Contests & Guided Hikes:
- 11:30am Beekeeper, Scott Navaroli of Southside Apiaries and keeper of the Chestnut Hill Farm bees, will be cracking hives and talking about honeybees and how AWESOME they are.
- 12:30pm Goat Milking Contest- Come watch the fun as Father Gregory Christokas and Ryan Donovan, Dir. Southborough Library face off against Freddie Gillespie, Goat Milking Champion from last year.
- 1:30pm Donut Eating Contest- test your skills
- 2:30pm Pie Baking Contest judging (get your Pie entry in by 2pm!!!!!)
- 1:45pm Guided Farm Trail Hike- if you haven't had a chance to walk the lovely farm hiking trails, what better way than with a naturalist!
